FrieslandCampina, a frontrunner in the food industry, sought to enlighten its top leaders on data-driven decision-making. And we had the privilege to lend a hand! We orchestrated 'Data Drives,' an event infused with AI to inspire all 102 top leaders and foster lasting impact. But it took more than just a simple email. What exactly? Achieving a 100% turnout through a campaign-style approach

Data Drives was envisioned as the ultimate event where leaders could learn about the impact of data in their business and how to utilize it as a tool for informed decision-making. It was our task to gather all 102 top leaders in one space and immerse them in the world of data-driven decision-making. The campaign approach consisted of a well-thought-out communication strategy, split and distributed over an extended period. To generate excitement and anticipation, we created an interactive platform where attendees gained access to various videos prior to the event - covering the theme, keynote speakers, and the program.

To infuse the event with an AI-inspired touch, we positioned a large milk carton at the center of the stage. During the opening, we used projection mapping to display key data on this prominent milk carton.

Boosting engagement with a gaming element

Data Drives primarily comprised informative and inspiring lectures with ample opportunities for interaction and networking to keep attendees engaged and on the edge of their seats. We empowered the top leaders with a (virtual) voice, allowing them to express themselves without needing to take the stage.

By incorporating an interactive gaming element, we further enhanced engagement and strengthened the sense of community. Through a quiz, participants could pose questions to the keynote speakers and earn points individually. We activated this gaming element prior to the event to extend interaction with the participants. Throughout the day, participants competed both individually and in teams to earn the most points. It was a resounding success as the winners' mentality was prevalent throughout.

An 8+ for event experience

The goal was to enthuse all 102 top leaders of FrieslandCampina to appear at one place simultaneously. And we succeeded! Because:

  • We achieved a 100% turnout.
  • Participants rated the overall event experience with an 8+.
  • And we attained a positive Net Promoter Score (NPS), with confirmation and evidence that the top leaders were able to effectively integrate all insights into their daily business.

Moreover, the post-event survey revealed that our mission to make Data Drives an engaging and awesome experience was accomplished. 86% of all leaders felt truly inspired, 91% experienced a strong sense of connection, and 70% felt better informed. The verdict? The message truly stuck!
