Spring is in the air, making it a great time to announce a brand new and ambitious collaboration to the world. The event and experiential marketing agency D&B Eventmarketing and FX Agency, currently the country’s fastest-growing digital experience agency, are joining forces to form a new live & digital experience group. Both agencies will be combined under a new name to be announced later in the year.

D&B and FX believe in the undeniable impact of live experiences with the immersive power of digital. “This joining of forces blurs the line between live and digital. The mix of both disciplines is the future. This exciting collaboration allows us to create more complete experiences and campaigns that support the strategies, ambitions and transformations of our clients. It ensures that we’re ready for a world where people increasingly live in a mixed reality, a new generation that thinks without boundaries, literally and figuratively.” - Pieter Bas Boertje, CEO of the group.

D&B and FX have long recognized that events and experiences are an essential part of a brand’s communication and marketing strategy. To respond to this growing need, they, as a group, now offer a complete mix of communication strategy, campaigns, creative content and live and digital experiences. With this comprehensive approach, the new group wants to meaningfully connect people and brands throughout the year with experiences and interactions that touch people and get them moving.

According to Niels Janssen, Chief Creative Officer of the new group, this is a ‘match made in heaven’. “The combination of our companies is a great match on all fronts. In terms of content, creativity and innovation.” FX and D&B are equally enthusiastic. “Whenever we do something, we are driven to lead the way and be the best. Thanks to this collaboration, we have even more in-house expertise for customers who need it, and we can help them better with all their issues, which are becoming increasingly complex in this day and age.

”The steps of this collaboration have been taken very carefully. Peter Zijlstra, Chief Operations Officer of the new group, explains: “at both agencies, there is a lot of attention for our talents and room for personal development and fun. We have therefore decided, with respect to the strong cultures and the close-knit teams, to remain as FX and D&B in Utrecht and Hilversum for the time being. We will inspire and enrich each other in terms of content and will collaborate intensively as a newly formed group. At the same time, we are working on a new strong name and identity at a group level, which we will announce later this year.”
