Kicking off the academic year in the best way possible. Together with the Erasmus University Rotterdam we set out to find the perfect opening of the academic year. An opening where students, employees and other interested parties could participate in. That fits today’s situation. In both form and substance.

Ninety dazzling minutes

To really make this opening interesting we came up with a challenging and interesting programme. This resulted in a ninety-minute show in which the university and its speakers could shine and shed their light on connecting academics and society.

We made sure that we got the undivided attention of al 9500 watching by alternating interesting speakers with music and dance. We crafted together a hybrid format. So, whether you were there or watching from your own home, every minute felt as if you were there in person.

Experiencing a live event from the comfort of your own home

As said before we involved everyone. Not only the people in the audience but also everyone that was watching from home. With our own app reply.live we enabled interaction between the public and speakers. While the talks were happening they asked questions, gave answers and provided the speakers with input.

By doing so we kept both physical- and online attendees involved. Turning watchers in to participants.
